UDK time !

Finishing Product

Yea~ finally pass up the  project but still have some part haven't complete yet  . My game call " blind man `s holiday " why call blind man ? because my character is a blind man haha ~

The game was created by using UDK and The Level is VCTF  , the art concept for this level is ancient temple base plus high-tech construct's . The high-
tech constructure is to cover /protect  the ancient tower and  become the military base for each team .   




player should not heading to the enemy`s  base without any vechicle , because in front your base will be a greater field of 
mechanical killer , Unless you are good in controlling the skateboard. 

There are 3 kind of vehicles ready for the player which is Scorpion , Manta and Cicada  . But some of the vehicles 
are hidden , player need to figure it out how to get the particular vehicles 



There are two highway which is direct  connected to the enemy base , Use it wisely, and victory will be yours 


Origin of the “ Blind Man ”

After Kaso (Blindman`s brother-blue team leader ) is dead , NOVA (new corrupt series , new blue team leader ) damage the harmony 
between the two team .  Blind Man has been attack and locked up from the blue team military and the military start to
lead the new group to destroy the red base and all the organic people .  
Unreal Tournament character “ corrupt ” ,  i did not own any copyright from this image , the copyright is belong to unreal tournament  . i only use it for the story refrence image .
After three months in prison , He succeed escaped from the dungeon with his injured body . 
He not only lost one eye and also lost his both legs and he change his name from luso to blindman .

A mechanical engineer found him in the broken temple , he took him and give him his two new  mechanical legs . In
order to repay it , he decided to reorganize the new military to crusade against militarism organization (Blue team ) 
before they destroy the entire red base



With the high evolution of the technology , he constantly improve his structure to become an invincible body ,an mechannical 
killer ,  Of course his strength is not just killer , Now he is the only one organic protector  that survive to the presenta 
day . With his clever mind and sensitive action together with mechanical construction , he is ready to lead his new army 
to against the enemy (blue team) .





Introduction of " Blind Man "

The character named “ Blind Man”, as you can see its an combination of organic wood skin and robotic structure .
Wearing an high-tech armor and carrying a range of equipment such as hand carry weapon “ Zipper ”  and human
long range gun , BlindMan is the protector of the Sky Tower , his responsibility is to ensure the safety of the Ensign.

Level design

this is the level designed for the game , the 2 base is same , even the terrain / pickup item also is similar to each other . 




Level assets

 This is the 3D modeling of the level , 1 Team  include 2 towers , 2 temples and 1 base .  both team base is the same . 



For the building , i saperate to many part before UVW mapping and i combine them together after done the texture. After finsihed the texture , i will symmetry it and export as ASE. for importing to the UDK  . 


As u can see the asset is havent add in the material yet , next step is to import the texture and create material for it. 


After creating and applying material for assets , we can start to placing the asest into UDK .

'Who moved my cheese ' part2 !


I LOVE ANIMATION ! (Only for low poly character )

Today , i wanted to share about my completed game asset for "who moved my cheese ". First , is my animation . this is my 1st time to do the 3d animation for the game character ( enemy) .  The level 2 character designed by karyean and level 1 is by me  . All the character skinned by omega , and then my part is to do the modeling and texturing . Enjoy !

The idle animation have some problem , i have update it and will update the new video for this character next time . 





Furthermore , here is some of  my textured mushroom game assets for the 'who moved my cheese
" level 2 :mushroom land .

For this "water-mushroom" i will need alpha & grow map for the texture effect . 

Enemy mushroom`s party room ! u kill the enemy then u will grape something from there!
"Dress-mushroom" wearing a colorful dress mushroom ,  highly reflect the color(from other object) during night .

The character will pass trough the green color wood by crouching ( avoid the sharp spines ). its the exit of this level .


I will update the complete level and some in game screen shoot after my group complete the project. All the best !

 'Who moved my cheese '  is my 2nd group project created by using Unity engine , which is did for the " game media study ' subject . 
My position in this project is to design a concept  for the particular level and then model & texture it out . The level is called mushroom land .  
Here is some of the mushroom monster concept that designed by me and we will use it into my level . 

and below is the choosen 1 ~  1st will be the small melee enemy and 2nd will be the tanker melee enemy .

This is the monster that created for the level 3 : bread village . This Hot dog was designed by my group mate :yean  and my job is to model it out and export it together with the texture to Unity .

Here is the level 2 of  'who moved my cheese' ( 1st level is the tutorial part . After pass through the tutorial level , the player will straight spawn into level 2 .
The yellow color arrow is the path that character will going through and orange color is the subordinate path .  Green color is the potion / item and red color is the enemy ~ the sign : X is the tanker .
the challenges of this level is to test player observation , reaction and flexibility .

Video - lusomega

Hi , this is my final year project for the college (lusomega) which is the combination of my friend`s name (omega) and mine (luso) . The another actor in this video is my group member 'omega' . He is the one who edited this video . thanks for watching ! !


My 3D Character





Today i want to share about my 3D character , Which is for my 3D 2  class - Mr Eric   . Tutor want us to create an  Humanoid Character  .  My character `s concept  is like an ancient mystery style kind of warrior . 

It`s an combination of the human`s body and minotaur leg . Which wearing a heavy armor and carry some magical item .



Textures & model finished  , putting the biped into the body , and make it able to pose .

Finishing render & posing ~ holding a weapon ... look aggressive !  i like it !

Total is 14,075 polygons , almost reach 15,000 polygons , which is the limited for our character poly count.
